![]() ![]() ![]() Sports Car GT, one of my personal all-time favourites. The wheel is officially certified as compatible with a handful of games, but it seemed to work fine with a range of "uncertified" force-feedback-capable games I tried it with, including older titles such as EA's classic ![]() The motors generate a bit of a background whirring noise, too, but it's not really noticeable once the game's audio kicks in. For all that the extra realism adds to the fun, I found that during long gaming sessions - especially with off-road games where the force feedback really gets a workout - I sometimes wanted to take a break from the vibrations and just drive "arcade style" for a while. The force feedback won't wrench the wheel out of your hand in a skid or crash, by any means, but it delivers a reasonably realistic road feel in games that travel over everything from wet tracks to washboard dirt roads.Ī button in the middle of the wheel lets you turn the force-feedback motors on and off at any time in a game, which is handy. ![]() The motors driving the force-feedback system have a decent amount of power and a 16-bit 25MHz co-processor for quick response time, nicely mirroring what you are experiencing on the screen. ![]()
